ENGR. ISRAEL ESEHOGHENE ABRAHAM

Engr. Israel Esehoghene Abraham is the President and Chairman of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Power Engineers of Nigeria (CIPEN). CIPEN is a Regulatory and Professional body for Power Engineering professionals in Nigeria. He leads a 30-man Council to administer the CIPEN Act, which is empowered by the enabling Act to regulate, control, and determine the standards of Knowledge and Skills to be attained by people seeking to become Chartered Power Engineers and by persons seeking to become members of the Power Engineering profession and for related matters.
Engr Israel Abraham, a Chartered Power Engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Power Engineers of Nigeria, has held numerous leadership roles. He is a COREN registered and certified Engineer, a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, a Corporate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Power Engineers (FNIPE). He has also been a Past President of the Coalition of Professional Engineering Institutes in Nigeria (COPEIN) and the Nigerian Institute of Power Engineers (NIPE).
His diverse experience and leadership positions are a testament to his expertise and influence in the field of Power Engineering.
Engr Israel Abraham received his Electrical Engineering education from the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, and Ladoke Akintola University of
Technology, Ogbomosho, where he majored in Electrical Power. He also holds an MBA specializing in finance and is currently a Principal Manager, System Operations at the Transmission Company of Nigeria.
Engr. Israel E. Abraham has accomplished numerous feats professionally and administratively and has been acknowledged globally.
He is a Proud recipient of the prestigious Presidential Merit Award of the NSE, the Ahmadu Bello Platinum Leadership Award (Garkuwan Matasan Arewa), and the Kwame Nkrumah Distinguished Service Awards, among many others. He enjoys swimming, reading, and watching documentaries.
Engr Israel is married with Children and loves traveling, reading.
